Found my Love
A Journey Written by the Mountains
Some journeys begin with maps and plans.
Mine began with a moment.
In early 2019, I was a boy from Lahore—a city of concrete, constant motion, dust and pollution —who had never seen a mountain, never felt thin air in his lungs, never stood in the quiet of a valley. That same year, destiny led me to a girl from Swat (Bahrain), a land shaped by rivers, peaks, and stories older than time.
What started as an arranged marriage slowly transformed into a love story—one built on understanding, patience, and fate. On December , 2019, I traveled to Swat for the very first time. It was the first time I saw my wife in person… and the first time I stood before mountains.
That day, I fell in love twice.
Blessed with childrens
As life unfolded, the mountains became more than a place—they became a feeling. In September 2020, I was blessed with a daughter, and later with a son. Every summer, we returned to Swat, spending summer surrounded by nature. When my children were still small, I bought a simple 70cc bike—not for adventure, but for memories. I rode through valleys with my children, showing them rivers, peaks, and skies untouched by noise.
Those rides changed everything.
Curosity to Explore
Slowly, my curiosity turned into exploration. And bought a new suzuki gs 150 Bike and modified it for touring and ventured into unseen valleys of Swat, camped under open skies, followed trails with no names, and discovered places that existed far beyond guidebooks. The mountains taught me patience, resilience, and humility.
Escape from matrix
Yet back in Lahore, life felt confined.
Long hours in a family business, routines without inspiration, and days that passed without meaning. My heart belonged to the mountains, but my body was stuck in the city. I realized that passion, if ignored, slowly turns into regret.
So I chose courage.
Found my vision
In 2025, I shared my vision with my father and stepped toward a different life. I began documenting the hidden landscapes of northern Pakistan—not just to travel, but to tell stories the world had never seen. Stories of mountain valleys without crowds, upland meadows, lakes , waterfalls and cultures deeply rooted in the land.
In jan 2026 That vision became Upland Rides.
Upland Rides is not just a tourism company—it is an invitation to explore the northern mountains of Pakistan, Camping beyond the usual routes into unexplored and lesser-known regions.What began as a personal journey has grown into a mission to connect travelers from around the world with the true soul of the mountains.
2026 goal of the year
Today, my path leads beyond Swat—to districts like Gilgit, Hunza, Skardu, Diamer, Astore, Chitral, ghanche,mansehra and kashmir.
2026 marks the year of full commitment—full exploration, full storytelling, and full devotion to this vision.
